TEIVOVO.COM – FMF FLYING FIJIANS

Nicky Little (fly-half)

Full name
: Nick Tyrone Little
Club:
Saracens (England)
Born: 13 Septmeber 1976 in Tokoroa
Height: 1m83 (6'1")
Weight: 96kg
Test debut: 1996 vs South Africa in Pretoria

60 caps 2 tries 125 pen 2 DG 599 points (79 games, 750 points)

Solid in defence with a world class kicking boot, Little is the ideal fly-half for today’s physically demanding game.

Just 19 when he made his Test debut against the Springboks in Pretoria in 1996, Little has proven himself time and again as a reliable team player that doesn’t falter under pressure. He holds the Fiji record as top points scorer in Tests with 568 to his name. He finished the 2000 and 2001 Pacific Rim tournaments as top points scorer.

He is a nephew of All Black legend Walter Little and fellow Fiji international Lawrence Little. He was enrolled at Waikato University (his mother is Maori), and played several seasons with North Harbour, before moving to the Sale Sharks after the 1999 World Cup.

After a disappointing season with Dax in France, Little switched to Pontypridd in Wales then to London club Saracens for the 2002-03 season.

He is also Fiji’s most-capped player

Pacific Rim points: 191. RWC99 points: 38. RWC03 points: 45
